These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between MeoVC, the MeoVC service operator, and the person or organization that accesses or uses MeoVC. MeoVC provides link shortening, QR code, redirect, analytics, custom-domain, workspace, API, and related services.

By accessing the website, creating an account, generating a short link, using a QR code, connecting a custom domain, using an API, starting a free plan, starting a paid plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

MeoVC is an independently operated software service. Contact channels are [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected].

1. Definitions

Service means MeoVC websites, dashboards, APIs, short-link domains, custom-domain redirect services, QR code tools, analytics, workspace features, support, and related services.

User, Customer, or you means any person or organization using the Service.

Company, we, us, or our means MeoVC and the current operator of the Service.

Account means a registered account, workspace, API access, login, or administrative profile.

Content means any URL, destination page, domain, slug, alias, QR code content, metadata, campaign data, tags, notes, files, text, marks, or other material submitted to or used through the Service.

User Content means Content submitted, configured, created, transmitted, or managed by you or on your behalf.

Short Link means a shortened URL, redirect URL, branded URL, custom alias, custom-domain link, or similar link managed through the Service.

Destination URL means the website, file, app, landing page, service, product, offer, message, or other resource to which a Short Link or QR code redirects or points.

Custom Domain means a domain that you connect to the Service for branded links or redirects.

Subscription, Paid Plan, and Free Plan mean the plan terms, features, usage limits, billing cycle, and fees shown at checkout, in the dashboard, in an order form, or in plan documentation.

Abuse means phishing, malware, spam, fraud, scams, unlawful content, harmful links, rights violations, platform evasion, API abuse, or other prohibited use.

Applicable Law means laws, regulations, sanctions, court orders, platform rules, payment-network rules, consumer-protection rules, privacy rules, and industry requirements that apply to you, MeoVC, your audience, your Content, or your use case.

Personal Data means information relating to an identified or identifiable person or similar protected information under applicable privacy laws.

Confidential Information means non-public information disclosed by one party that should reasonably be understood as confidential.

Beta Features means experimental, preview, limited-release, or test features.

2. Eligibility and Authority

You may use the Service only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms and lawfully use the Service in your jurisdiction and target markets.

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, unless MeoVC expressly allows a different age in writing and Applicable Law permits it.

You must not use the Service if you are barred by sanctions, export-control rules, court orders, platform rules, or Applicable Law.

If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. MeoVC may refuse registration, limit access, request verification, suspend accounts, or terminate access where needed for legal, security, abuse, payment, fraud, sanctions, operational, or reputational reasons.

3. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate, current, and complete account, billing, and contact information and keep it updated.

You are responsible for your account, workspace, domains, Short Links, QR codes, API keys, credentials, email access, and all activity under them.

You must protect passwords, API keys, login methods, devices, and administrative access. You must promptly notify [email protected] or [email protected] of suspected unauthorized access or compromise.

MeoVC may restrict, suspend, rotate, revoke, disable, or terminate credentials, links, domains, workspaces, or accounts where we reasonably believe compromise, Abuse, fraud, security risk, or unlawful activity may be present.

4. Description of the Service

MeoVC may provide URL shortening, QR code generation, editable redirects, custom aliases, custom domains, link previews, analytics, workspace collaboration, API access, campaign tools, and paid plan features.

The Service may change over time. We may add, modify, suspend, remove, throttle, rename, discontinue, or limit features, domains, APIs, analytics, storage, or integrations.

Unless a separate written service level agreement is signed by MeoVC, the Service is provided without uptime, availability, continuity, permanence, or feature-availability commitments.

The Service is not designed for emergency, safety-critical, medical, life-support, high-impact legal, financial execution, or other uses where redirect delay, link unavailability, analytics error, or data loss could cause material harm.

5. User Content and Destination URLs

You are solely responsible for User Content, Destination URLs, destination pages, metadata, aliases, QR codes, UTM parameters, campaigns, social previews, custom domains, messages, audiences, notices, consents, claims, and offers.

You represent that you have all rights, permissions, consents, licenses, legal bases, and authority required to create, publish, redirect to, track, analyze, and manage your Content through the Service.

MeoVC is not required to pre-screen all Short Links, QR codes, Destination URLs, or User Content. We may use automated tools, manual review, third-party signals, abuse reports, reputation data, security feeds, and other methods to scan, classify, review, block, deactivate, delete, throttle, quarantine, warn about, or limit links, accounts, domains, API keys, or Content.

MeoVC may show an interstitial warning page, block access, disable a link, suspend an account, or preserve records if we believe a link is suspicious, harmful, unlawful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, unsafe, or risky.

6. Acceptable Use

You must use the Service only for lawful, honest, transparent, and good-faith purposes.

You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. That policy is incorporated into these Terms.

Without limitation, you must not use the Service for phishing, malware, ransomware, credential harvesting, spam, unsolicited messaging, scams, fraud, impersonation, misleading redirects, cloaking, affiliate abuse, fake login pages, illegal goods or services, child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, terrorism or violent extremism, threats, harassment, doxxing, privacy violations, intellectual property infringement, stolen data, platform-ban evasion, API abuse, scraping, excessive requests, rate-limit bypassing, reverse engineering except where non-waivable law allows it, or regulated services where promotion is illegal.

MeoVC may enforce the Acceptable Use Policy using risk-based review and may act before completing a full investigation where delay could create harm.

7. Abuse, DSA-Ready Notice and Action, and Appeals

Reports about phishing, malware, spam, fraud, unlawful content, harmful links, intellectual property complaints, and other Abuse should be sent to [email protected]. Legal or regulator communications may be sent to [email protected].

A report should include the Short Link, the Destination URL if known, the category of issue, a factual explanation, evidence such as screenshots or message headers when relevant, your contact information, and any legal basis for the report.

For MeoVC redirect URLs, a reporter may add + to the end of the redirect URL before any ? query string to view available public link information, for example https://clk.vc/demo+.

When we restrict a link, account, domain, or workspace, we may provide a reason notice where it is safe and legally appropriate. We may withhold notice where notice could create risk, reveal security methods, interfere with investigations, expose victims, violate law, or involve phishing, malware, CSAM, sanctions, urgent legal requests, fraud, or clear Abuse.

Where a decision is reasonably contestable, you may request review by contacting [email protected]. Review may not be available for urgent safety actions, malware, phishing, CSAM, sanctions, court orders, regulator requests, payment risk, or clear Abuse.

MeoVC may maintain an internal moderation log for reports, decisions, reasons, dates, reviewer or system identifier, preserved evidence, and appeal status.

8. CSAM and Child Exploitation

CSAM, child sexual exploitation, grooming, sextortion, sexualized minors, AI-generated CSAM, deepfake child sexual abuse imagery, or any content that endangers children is strictly prohibited.

Reports involving child safety are treated as urgent. MeoVC may immediately block links, disable accounts, preserve a minimal evidence trail, restrict access to evidence, and review whether mandatory reporting obligations apply, including obligations that may involve NCMEC CyberTipline or other competent authorities depending on the facts and jurisdiction.

Do not send CSAM or child exploitation material through ordinary support channels unless strictly necessary to identify the report. Provide the Short Link, destination details, factual context, and contact information.

9. Anti-Spam, Messaging, and Marketing

You must not use Short Links, QR codes, domains, APIs, or MeoVC identifiers in unsolicited, deceptive, unlawful, or non-compliant messages, including email, SMS, MMS, RCS, push notifications, direct messages, social posts, comments, calls, or similar communications.

You are responsible for required consents, sender identity, opt-out mechanisms, suppression lists, advertising disclosures, unsubscribe compliance, evidence of consent, and compliance with anti-spam, telemarketing, consumer-protection, privacy, platform, carrier, and advertising rules.

MeoVC is not the sender, publisher, advertiser, telemarketer, sponsor, payment processor, merchant, seller, list owner, or beneficiary of your campaigns unless expressly agreed in a signed written agreement.

10. Payments, Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal, and Paid Launch Gate

Some features may require a Paid Plan, usage-based fees, overage fees, domain fees, API fees, add-ons, enterprise commitments, or other charges.

Paid subscriptions will become available after payment processing is enabled.

If paid plans are offered, checkout must show the price, currency, billing period, recurring billing terms, cancellation terms, no-refund terms, free-trial conversion terms if any, and links to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy section before payment.

If automatic renewal applies, your subscription renews until cancelled according to the cancellation flow made available by MeoVC. You authorize MeoVC and its payment processor to charge fees, taxes, renewals, overages, upgrades, and add-ons using the payment method provided.

MeoVC should retain evidence of checkout consent, including account identifier, timestamp, Terms version, refund terms version, checkout disclosure version, plan, price, currency, billing period, auto-renewal consent, immediate-access consent, and withdrawal or cooling-off notice where applicable.

Failure to pay may result in downgrade, suspension, link limits, disabled features, disabled links, disabled QR codes, loss of analytics, collection activity, or termination.

11. Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law.

This no-refund policy applies to monthly fees, annual fees, usage fees, overage fees, add-ons, domain-related fees, API fees, enterprise fees, renewal fees, and other paid charges. It also applies if you cancel on the same day as purchase, renewal, upgrade, or activation.

Cancellation stops future renewal where cancellation is completed before the applicable renewal deadline. Cancellation does not create a refund, credit, prorated refund, or charge reversal for the current billing period unless mandatory law requires otherwise or MeoVC expressly agrees in writing.

If you are an EU, EEA, UK, or other consumer with non-waivable withdrawal, cooling-off, cancellation, refund, or statutory warranty rights, those mandatory rights are not excluded. If digital services begin immediately after purchase, checkout should request express consent to immediate access and acknowledgment that withdrawal rights may be lost or limited where Applicable Law permits.

Chargebacks, payment disputes, and refund abuse may result in account suspension, feature restriction, link deactivation, or termination.

12. Free Plans, Trials, Promotions, and Beta Features

Free plans, trials, promotions, credits, and discounts may be limited, changed, withdrawn, or conditioned on eligibility at any time.

If a trial converts to a paid plan, checkout or trial signup must disclose the conversion date, price, currency, billing period, auto-renewal terms, cancellation terms, and refund terms before the user is charged.

Beta Features are provided for testing only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, unstable, unavailable, discontinued, or changed without notice. Do not rely on Beta Features for production or legal-critical workflows.

13. APIs, Integrations, and Rate Limits

You may use APIs, SDKs, webhooks, integrations, and developer tools only as documented and authorized.

MeoVC may impose or change quotas, scopes, rate limits, authentication requirements, headers, caching rules, payload rules, attribution rules, and usage caps.

You must not share API keys, use undocumented endpoints, bypass limits, scrape the Service, overload the Service, benchmark for publication without consent, reverse engineer except where non-waivable law permits, create competing datasets, resell access without authorization, or use APIs to facilitate prohibited activity.

14. Privacy, Data, and Analytics

MeoVC processes information as described in the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any applicable Data Processing Addendum.

Destination URLs, referrers, UTM parameters, link metadata, and click metadata may reveal sensitive inferences. You must avoid using the Service in ways that unlawfully collect, infer, expose, or process sensitive information.

Analytics may be delayed, sampled, estimated, filtered, incomplete, duplicated, blocked, inaccurate, or affected by bots, scanners, prefetching, security tools, ad blockers, browsers, VPNs, network providers, crawlers, outages, configuration errors, or legal restrictions. Analytics are not guaranteed for billing, audit, investment, medical, legal, tax, or regulatory decisions.

15. Data Processing Addendum

Where MeoVC processes Personal Data on behalf of a business customer as a processor or service provider, the Data Processing Addendum may apply if accepted by the parties or required by the applicable plan.

Customers remain responsible for their own notices, lawful bases, consent records, privacy choices, data subject requests, and compliance for Destination URLs, campaigns, custom domains, and use of analytics.

16. Intellectual Property

MeoVC and its licensors own the Service, software, interfaces, designs, APIs, documentation, databases, analytics systems, trademarks, logos, domain names, security systems, know-how, and related technology.

You retain ownership of User Content, subject to the rights granted in these Terms.

You grant MeoVC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, copy, process, scan, analyze, classify, transmit, display, route, redirect, cache, modify for technical purposes, create analytics from, and otherwise use User Content as necessary or useful to provide, secure, support, improve, investigate, enforce, and operate the Service, comply with law, and protect MeoVC, users, and the public.

You may not use MeoVC names, logos, domains, or branding in a way that misleads users, suggests sponsorship, impersonates MeoVC, damages reputation, or violates the Brand Guidelines.

17. Copyright and DMCA-Style Process

MeoVC respects intellectual property rights and may disable links, QR codes, accounts, domains, or Content that allegedly infringe rights.

To submit a copyright complaint, contact [email protected] with:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work or rights claimed to be infringed;
  • identification of the Short Link, QR code, Destination URL, or Content at issue;
  • information reasonably sufficient for MeoVC to locate the material;
  • your name, organization if any, email, phone, and mailing address if available;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or the law;
  • a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights owner.

MeoVC may forward complaints to affected users and may provide a counter-notice process where required by law. Counter-notices should include identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury where required that removal was due to mistake or misidentification, contact information, consent to appropriate jurisdiction where required, and a physical or electronic signature.

MeoVC may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

MeoVC may update this copyright process if additional statutory agent or notice requirements apply.

18. Confidentiality

Each party may receive Confidential Information. The receiving party must use reasonable care to protect Confidential Information and may use it only for the purposes of the relationship.

Confidential Information does not include information that is public, independently developed, lawfully obtained from a third party, or required to be disclosed by law. Legal process disclosures are handled under the Law Enforcement Request Policy where applicable.

19. Security

MeoVC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the Service. No service can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

You are responsible for secure configuration of your account, domains, API keys, devices, team access, and Destination URLs.

Public security information is available in the Security Overview. That page intentionally does not disclose exact hosting, cloud, CDN, security vendors, regions, IP addresses, or internal architecture.

20. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

MeoVC does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, permanent, compatible with every platform, accepted by third-party services, free from filtering, immune from abuse, or suitable for your specific use.

MeoVC does not control Destination URLs or third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, legality, privacy practices, security, claims, transactions, or harms.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeoVC and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, payment processors, suppliers, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, multiple, or enhanced damages; lost profits; lost revenue; lost goodwill; lost data; lost Content; business interruption; security incidents; third-party claims; regulatory actions; Abuse by users or third parties; or cost of substitute services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeoVC's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the lesser of USD 100 or the amount paid by you to MeoVC for the Service giving rise to the claim during the one month before the event giving rise to liability. If mandatory law does not allow that cap, liability is limited to the minimum amount required by mandatory law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

22. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MeoVC and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, payment processors, suppliers, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, settlements, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • your use of the Service;
  • User Content, Destination URLs, campaigns, messages, products, services, or claims;
  • spam, phishing, malware, fraud, scams, deceptive marketing, unlawful messaging, privacy violations, consumer complaints, payment disputes, chargebacks, or platform penalties;
  • violation of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, Applicable Law, third-party rights, platform rules, or contracts;
  • your negligence, willful misconduct, misrepresentation, credential compromise, or failure to obtain required rights, notices, consents, or legal bases.

23. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel paid renewal as described in the dashboard or support flow.

MeoVC may suspend, restrict, downgrade, disable, terminate, delete, or refuse access to the Service, accounts, Short Links, QR codes, domains, analytics, APIs, credentials, workspaces, or Content if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay, caused Abuse, generated complaints, violated law, created security risk, created reputational risk, or if continued service is commercially, legally, or operationally impractical.

After termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. MeoVC may retain or delete data according to the Data Retention Policy, legal obligations, security needs, backups, and legitimate business purposes.

24. Governing Law and Disputes

The governing law, venue, arbitration, class-action waiver, and consumer addenda may be addressed in a later update or separate written agreement.

Until then, disputes should first be raised by written notice to [email protected]. The notice should describe the dispute and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution, unless urgent injunctive relief, Abuse, security incidents, IP infringement, unlawful content, non-payment, or legal process requires faster action.

Mandatory consumer rights and non-waivable rights are not excluded.

25. Changes

MeoVC may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated. If a change materially affects users, MeoVC may provide additional notice where required by law.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any paid plan before the next renewal.
