Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of MeoVC, including Short Links, QR codes, APIs, custom domains, analytics, workspaces, redirects, support, and related services.

You may use MeoVC only for lawful, honest, transparent, and good-faith purposes. You must not use MeoVC to create, facilitate, promote, conceal, monetize, test, evade detection of, or benefit from unlawful, abusive, harmful, deceptive, infringing, unsafe, exploitative, misleading, spam-related, or high-risk activity.

1. Illegal, Harmful, or Abusive Activity

You must not use MeoVC for:

• violating Applicable Law, sanctions, export-control rules, court orders, platform rules, contracts, or third-party rights;
• criminal activity, violence, exploitation, human trafficking, terrorism, violent extremism, or instructions for wrongdoing;
• child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, grooming, sextortion, sexualized minors, AI-generated CSAM, deepfake child sexual abuse imagery, or content that endangers children;
• malware, ransomware, spyware, stalkerware, credential theft, phishing, smishing, quishing, pharming, botnets, exploit kits, malicious downloads, drive-by downloads, fake updates, scareware, fake security alerts, or tech-support scams;
• fraud, scams, impersonation, fake investment schemes, pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, fake giveaways, fake jobs, fake invoices, fake government messages, romance scams, charity scams, refund scams, deceptive payment requests, or stolen funds;
• hate, threats, harassment, stalking, doxxing, extortion, blackmail, non-consensual intimate imagery, or privacy violations.

2. Spam, Messaging Abuse, and Evasion

You must not use MeoVC for:

• unsolicited, unauthorized, deceptive, excessive, non-compliant, or abusive email, SMS, messaging, posts, comments, push notifications, direct messages, calls, or similar communications;
• purchased, scraped, harvested, guessed, stolen, rented, or unlawfully obtained contact lists, credentials, tokens, cookies, identifiers, or Personal Data;
• misleading previews, titles, descriptions, senders, aliases, brands, QR labels, unsubscribe mechanisms, consent claims, or destination representations;
• link cloaking, destination swapping, rotating destinations, device-based deception, geolocation-based deception, referrer-based deception, or other methods used to evade review, filters, user expectations, platform rules, law enforcement, or security systems;
• multiple accounts, disposable accounts, fake identities, shell entities, shared credentials, or technical workarounds used to bypass enforcement, rate limits, verification, payment controls, sanctions screening, abuse detection, or prior suspension.

3. Prohibited or Restricted Service Categories

You must not use MeoVC to promote, sell, facilitate, or redirect to:

• sexually oriented or pornographic content services, including AI-generated NSFW content and NSFW chatbots;
• face-swap, deepfake, and face-manipulation services;
• IPTV services or unauthorized streaming access;
• spyware, stalkerware, monitoring tools, or parental-control services used for unauthorized surveillance;
• donation, charity, or fundraising flows where no legitimate digital service is provided or where the price materially exceeds the service value;
• content, software, media, datasets, or intellectual property for which you do not hold proper rights;
• third-party content downloaders, rippers, stream recorders, scraping services, or tools that violate platform terms or rights;
• marketplace or reseller flows where you sell third-party services without authorization or without clear accountability;
• counterfeit goods, fake documents, fake IDs, stolen goods, stolen accounts, or credential sales;
• hacking services, exploit sales, botnets, traffic manipulation, account farms, fake engagement, click fraud, or review manipulation.

4. Regulated and High-Risk Activities

You must not use MeoVC for regulated goods or services unless you have all required licenses, permissions, disclosures, age gates, jurisdiction controls, and compliance processes.

Restricted categories include financial services, investment advice, lending, credit repair, debt relief, insurance, securities, crypto-assets, gambling, betting, sweepstakes, lotteries, alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare claims, legal services, tax services, immigration services, weapons, explosives, and other regulated products or services.

MeoVC may prohibit these categories entirely where required by law, payment rules, platform rules, operational risk, or MeoVC policy.

5. Intellectual Property, Privacy, and Data Misuse

You must not use MeoVC for:

• copyright, trademark, patent, trade-secret, publicity, privacy, database, confidentiality, or other rights infringement;
• unlawful scraping, enrichment, tracking, profiling, sale, exposure, or sharing of Personal Data;
• unlawful surveillance, tracking of children, tracking of sensitive locations, or processing of sensitive data without authorization;
• publishing or redirecting to confidential, leaked, stolen, or unlawfully obtained information;
• re-identifying Visitors from aggregated analytics or combining analytics with other datasets to identify people.

6. Service Integrity and Security

You must not:

• interfere with, disrupt, probe, scan, test, overload, degrade, attack, or bypass the Service or related infrastructure;
• create bot traffic, fake scans, fake clicks, fake accounts, artificial metrics, click fraud, or impression fraud;
• reverse engineer, scrape, copy, crawl, or extract Service data except as expressly allowed or where non-waivable law permits;
• use MeoVC to build a competing service, abuse the reputation of MeoVC domains, or misrepresent affiliation with MeoVC;
• bypass rate limits, API limits, account limits, plan limits, security controls, moderation actions, or payment controls.

7. Enforcement

MeoVC may investigate, review, warn about, throttle, quarantine, block, deactivate, remove, suspend, terminate, preserve, or disclose links, QR codes, accounts, domains, API keys, workspaces, analytics, or Content when we believe action is necessary.

MeoVC may use automated review, manual review, abuse reports, security feeds, third-party signals, payment signals, reputation data, and legal requests.

MeoVC may act without prior notice where delay could create legal, security, safety, privacy, abuse, payment, operational, or reputational risk.

8. Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was incorrect, contact [email protected] with the link, account email, explanation, and supporting evidence.

Appeals may not be available or may be limited for phishing, malware, CSAM, child exploitation, sanctions, court orders, legal process, payment risk, fraud, urgent safety issues, or clear Abuse.
